Participants: 6 to 50 people.
Share an unforgettable multisensory experience, designed for groups who wish to immerse themselves in an authentic and charming atmosphere. The historic D. Barbero Company, in the heart of the historic center, opens its doors for an exclusive tour celebrating conviviality and the art of Piedmontese confectionery.
Your group will be guided on an evocative journey back in time through the company museum, where every relic tells a story of generations-long passion. You will then ascend to the upper floors, into the beating heart of production, for a close-up look at the places where the crumbly nougat and the finest chocolate are still created today, following the rhythms and secrets of pure craftsmanship. The experience will culminate in a moment of encounter and palate delight with a guided tasting of the most iconic varieties of Barbero nougat and chocolate.
All expertly paired with glasses of Moscato d'Asti DOCG, whose aromatic notes enhance the sweetness and quality of the raw ingredients.

A visit to the D. Barbero company is a unique and engaging experience: every year, people from all over the world come to discover our production processes up close, observing the nougat making process and the historic machinery. Our small company museum houses original documents and period photographs that tell our story. The company is thus a true "living museum," captivating visitors with its artisanal production and the evocative setting of a late-19th-century Art Nouveau building in the heart of Asti. Tours are only available in two time slots: in the morning at 10:30 a.m. or in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m. For tours in languages other than Italian, with the exception of English, which is available by default, it is necessary to arrange for an interpreter if the company does not have a translator. Tours are suspended in July, August, and December, as well as on holidays and the days before holidays. |
